The Wild Animal Rescue Foundation of Thailand (WARF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. It was registered on July 14, 1992, and is composed of a board of directors, committee members, and volunteers.
Our Operational Structure:
- Board of Directors: Responsible for the policy and overall direction of the foundation.
- Secretary-General: Oversees the daily operations and coordinates between various projects and government agencies.
- Project Managers: Each project (such as GRP or WARED) is managed by dedicated staff and specialists in their respective fields.
- Volunteers: A vital part of our workforce, assisting in daily animal care, rehabilitation processes, and educational activities.
Funding and Support
- Donations: From individuals and corporate sponsors.
- Grants: From international conservation organizations
- Adoption Programs: Where supporters can “adopt” an animal to help cover its food and medical costs.
- Educational Sessions: We offer learning sessions for visitors at the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project to educate them about our mission and the importance of wildlife conservation.
