How WARF is Run

The Wild Animal Rescue Foundation of Thailand (WARF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. It was registered on July 14, 1992, and is composed of a board of directors, committee members, and volunteers.

Our Operational Structure:

  • Board of Directors: Responsible for the policy and overall direction of the foundation.
  • Secretary-General: Oversees the daily operations and coordinates between various projects and government agencies.
  • Project Managers: Each project (such as GRP or WARED) is managed by dedicated staff and specialists in their respective fields.
  • Volunteers: A vital part of our workforce, assisting in daily animal care, rehabilitation processes, and educational activities.

Funding and Support

  • Donations: From individuals and corporate sponsors.
  • Grants: From international conservation organizations
  • Adoption Programs: Where supporters can “adopt” an animal to help cover its food and medical costs.
  • Educational Sessions: We offer learning sessions for visitors at the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project to educate them about our mission and the importance of wildlife conservation.
