The project was portioned out into 25 activities, spreading out in five provinces in the north including Chiang Mai, Lampang, Lamphun, Chiang Rai and Uttaradit. \u200b<\/p>

Since the juvenile loris has been brought up more or less in captivity, a successful release depends on a proper rehabilitation. For this reason, WARED is building a special rehabilitation site for lorises that allows for them to forage for food independently and train for their future life in the wild.<\/p>

The objective is to teach the monkeys when and where to expect food everyday, and to try and minimize the negative effects they have on the community by providing adequate food for the population.<\/p>

Unfortunately some of the gibbons which arrive at the WARF will never be released into the wild. Gibbons that have tested positive for the Herpes Simplex Virus, Hepatitis B Virus, Hepatitis B Virus and HIV Virus could potentially spread the disease to the reintroduced population as well as pose as a health threat to humans.\u200b<\/p>
